The Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) issued a written statement marking the 28th anniversary of the October 9 international conspiracy and addressing recent regional developments, declaring that the forefront of Kurdish struggle and the democratic unity across all four parts of Kurdistan constitute the sole guarantee of peace and liberation.

According to Hawar News, PJAK emphasized in its statement that a systemic war has been imposed upon Middle Eastern peoples: "Today once again, due to anti-democratic stances of global and regional hegemonic powers, a destructive war is being waged instead of fostering peace and freedom. The path to overcoming this darkness lies in the peace process, a democratic society, and the liberation of the Kurdish people."

Addressing new developments in Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan) and Iran, PJAK noted that the authorities in Tehran stand at a historic crossroads: either continuing destructive war and crisis, or opening up to social peace and recognizing the legitimate rights of the Kurdish nation and other peoples. The statement stressed that lasting security in the Middle East cannot be achieved without resolving the Kurdish question in Iran, Turkey, Iraq, and Syria.

The statement urged the people of Eastern Kurdistan and all democratic forces to consolidate their joint struggle against domestic oppression, detentions, and executions, reiterating that dialogue and political settlement remain the only viable road forward.
